Of Course, The Year I DON’T Go

Jordan Spieth, the unstoppable force he is, just won the John Deere Classic. Again.

He’s sitting at four wins going into the Open Championship, still looking at potential for a Spieth Slam.

Not to mention Rickie Fowler, the brand new Scottish Open winner as of this afternoon.

Seriously, I need to stop picking favorites. These dudes keep winning and I’ll never be able to see them live through the throngs of fellow adoring fans.

I’m particularly aggravated because I had every intention of attending the John Deere today. But then I saw the photos of Jordan’s crowd on Thursday and decided there are better ways to sweat my ass of for six hours. Instead, I watched both tourneys from the comfort of my couch, in yoga pants and a sports bra. Even I was a winner today.

This week is looking good for both of my faves- and even pretty good for Rory McIlroy, given his injury will keep him on the couch playing video games all week- but I’m not sure where my loyalties lie going into the third major of the year. Jordan has a chance to make history, but…Rickie Fowler.

Such a decision.
