Bandwagoning The Bloggers: Guest Posts For Everyone

In the past few months, I’ve been slacking on my duty as a bandwagoner. I’ve still be watching, playing and arguing about golf, but I’ve been mostly been writing guest posts for other golf sites. I’m working on some new pieces for the bandwagon, but in the meantime, take a gander at a few of my recent off-the-wagon posts. While you’re there, don’t be shy – give the blog hosts a little love.

“Andrew ‘Beef’ Johnston: A Breath of Fresh Air for Golf Fans” for Practical Golf: I profiled the man, the meat and the legend, Andrew “Beef” Johnston. There are definitely meat jokes and no, I’m not sorry.

“Golfing in the City” for Bump and Run Apparel: I lament city life as a new golfer. Chicago isn’t kind to not-horrible-but-certainly-not-good golfers with limited income.

“I Have No Golf Friends” for McNally22.com: I talk about being alone on my bandwagon. *hugs self* I just want some golf friends, man.

“The Case for Rickie Fowler” for Front9Back9: Before he passed away, Ryan was nice enough to indulge my Fowler fanaticism. Read the rest of his blog if you need to pass an afternoon (or three).

I promise I won’t be slacking on the bandwagon much longer (she says, as the season winds down). And if there’s a (golf) topic you’d like to see me cover, just let me know and I’ll add it to the list. Or maybe just start a golf blog and ask for a guest piece…it might get done faster that way.

  1. Cassie,

Good on you for publishing some guest posts on some other great sites. You’re an awesome writer and anyone would be lucky to have you write for their site, HOWEVER, it’s also nice (taking my blogger cap off and putting my reader/fan cap on) that when you’re a fan of someone’s writing that you don’t have to chase them all over the internet — so don’t neglect the bandwagon.

    Thanks!
    Josh
